Hello, I’m Dave, owner and inspector at Proper Inspections Plus!
I have over thirty years of experience in both public and private organizations. Over the years of progression, I started as a Heavy Equipment Operator where I excavated numerous foundations public buildings and private residential homes over a ten-year period. I then went to work for a local government in the engineering department where I did everything from Management of HOA’s to Project management including renovation of existing structures to overseeing new Commercial buildings being constructed while also overseeing new infrastructure and Capital Improvement projects for over twelve years.
I then went to work for a local land development and residential home building company responsibilities included all operations of land development, new development, and redevelopment ventures for a period of five years. I then Managed a large-scale HOA where I was responsible for a Collection of Revenues, Capital Improvements, Maintenance of existing structures, road maintenance and a large class one high hazard dam for a period of seven years. I missed the excitement of the land development world, so I went back to the development world as President of a land development and building company.
After two years of that, the stresses of the job were not good for my health, so I resigned and went to work as Manager for an excavating company for one and a half years which has brought me full circle to where I am today. I‘ve always enjoyed helping others as your home inspector, I will explain and walk you thru any questions or concerns you may have. I look forward to working with you!
